Mechanical Reliability Engineer    NC  
Individual will lead the site's Reliability Program to enhance the effectiveness of the maintenance
organization through development and implementation of various reliability strategies and techniques. 
Individual will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, and on budget. Works closely
with the Maintenance Team and assists in development of preventive/predictive maintenance
procedures, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities
Analyzes equipment performance, failure data, and corrective maintenance history to develop and
deploy engineering solutions, improved maintenance strategies, preventative maintenance optimization,
and other reliability techniques.
Manages work order documentation in the CMMS to support robust reliability and failure analysis.
Monitors/Audits closed reliability work order for completion and accuracy.
Provides training and coaching in Root Cause and Reliability Analysis.
Takes ownership for ongoing corrective action tracking, implementation, and follow up to ensure
that all Root Cause analysis projects are properly documented.
Partners with appropriate suppliers and technical resources to document best practices in the
creation of PM and PdM Reliability tasks.
Engages plant technical resources, supply chain team, and key suppliers to develop and document
robust spare parts lists and inventories.
Capital Projects – Identifies potential Reliability projects, prepares cost estimates and CRs, manages
project implementation ( i.e. – construction, contractors, start up, etc)
Maintenance Department – Support Maintenance Team on a daily basis providing engineering,
troubleshooting, repair paths, and training.
Standard Operating Procedures – Develop new and revise existing reliability, operating, and LOTO
procedures. Train operators/techs as changes or improvements are implemented.
Expected to utilize Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing techniques in identifying potential cost 
and process improvements.
Responsible for a wide range of duties to support production.
Promote safe work practices.

Requirements 
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 5 years related reliability experience.
Competency with Microsoft suite of products.
Experience working in a CMMS environment.
Strong Analytical, Numerical, and Reasoning abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Well developed interpersonal skills – Tactful and Mature.
Willing to work in varying conditions ( heat, cold, indoors, outdoors, heights)
Schedule flexibility – continuous operation, 24/7 availability required.
AutoCAD experience a plus.
Experience with Behavior Based Safety Processes a plus.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources Management preferred
Minimum of 5 years of professional level experience in human resources preferably
in a manufacturing environment and 3 of those years managing a human resources
department.
Must have applied knowledge of appropriate laws and regulations (e.g. FMLA, OSHA,
ADA, Worker's Compensation, EEO, etc.)
Must have proficiency in office automation software, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to plan, organize, and follow through.
Ability to develop teamwork through leadership.

Day shift positions with weekend rotation.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Installation, maintenance, calibration and inspection of the automation control systems (PLC)
inclusive of dvires, wiring and control panels of these systems.
Develop and maintain Human Machine Interface applications (HMI)
Maintenance and update of documentation for the above systems (loop diagrams, panel
drawings, I/O lists, Manual, etc.)
Management of control system servers, logic controllers, software and backups.
System administration of the automation control system hardware, network and software.
Provide timely resolution and troubleshooting of technical issues related to instrumentation
and automation control systems.
Generate detailed work records and hand over notes to facilitate proper communication
betwen work crews.
Promote safe work practices.
Schedule and organize work methods, materials and parts.

Requirements
Associates degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 4 years experience in the maintenance of automated manufacturing
environment.
Knowledge and demonstrated previous use of Allen Bradley programmable logic controllers
(PLC) and I/Os or other equivalent systems (Siemens, Modicon).
Knowledge and demonstrated previous use of industrial communication systems
(Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet).
Knowledge and demonstrated previous use of the Rockwell Applications Software
suite (RSLogix, RSLinx, RSNetworx, etc.).
Muste be able to work both independently and as a team member.
Excellent computer and software skills such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access,
PowerPoint).
Experinence with CAD is a plus.
